Corporate
education and corporate training are entirely two different subjects of focus.
But, since their names are so related to each other, many of the organizations
think corporate education as corporate training. Corporate training is the
essential training of the employees regarding specific equipment used and tasks
that are needed to be performed in an office environment efficiently and
safely. As a result, the person who is being trained is not only able to
perform the task effectively but also able to operate different types of
equipment efficiently according to the predetermined criteria of the training.
Majorly,
corporate training is given to the trained to ensure that the employee has the technical
knowledge about the equipment and tasks so that he is able to perform the
operation assigned by the organization under different circumstances. In
general, corporate training is a knowledge that is being transferred to the
employee through an instructor, who demonstrates different circumstances
according to which the employee has to perform specific
tasks.
While, on the
other hand, corporate education mainly focuses on new knowledge that is being
in-aided to the trainee. It takes it to a level higher by adding new dimension
and depth to the training given in corporate training. It involves participants
rather than the learners to generate new knowledge for the development of a
particular organization rather than maintaining a status quo. Corporate education
makes it possible for an organization to be sustainable and successful by doing
the right things which are suitable for the development of an organization.
Corporate
education in contrast to corporate training includes a facilitator rather than
instructor or trainer which encourages the participants on gaining new
knowledge. It is centered on new
information and techniques which encourages the participants to think about the
organization and its challenges in the current paradigms. Corporate education
focuses on learning techniques and engaging the participants to think about
where the organization is going, it's future plans, challenges new better ways
of developing and sustaining the organization. On the other hand, the role of
corporate training is to train the employee for certain tasks and technical
knowledge of the equipment of an organization. the basic purpose of corporate
education is to benefit both the individual and the organization by providing
new knowledge to the participant.
The trend of corporate education as an incentive to the employees in different organizations is increasing day by day as it benefits the organization in the other way. This helps the employees to improve their portfolio skills, resumes, and make their qualifications recognized. This helps to have skillful and trained managers who are able to handle the organization into a new and better way for the development of the organization.
